Note: Rust NanoMsg is currently being cleaned up and turned into an idiomatic Rust library. As a result, things might not work as expected.
nanomsg is a modern messaging library that is the successor to ZeroMQ, written in C by Martin Sustrik and colleagues. The nanomsg library is licensed under MIT/X11 license. "nanomsg" is a trademark of 250bpm s.r.o.
You'll need to have nanomsg installed beforehand.
Rust doesn't have any package distribution system yet :), unfortunately. You'll have to manually clone this repo and build it:
git clone [email protected]:TheHydroImpulse/rust-nanomsg.git
cd rust-nanomsg
make # Builds the library into ./target
You'll find the latest library within the target
directory, which you can then copy somewhere.
You can link this library from another Rust crate:
rustc -L ${folder} src/lib.rs --out-dir target
Replacing ${folder}
with the location where the built rust-nanomsg library is.
