Describe the request

I would like to optionally have the output window split long lines to fit into the window to remove the need of horizontal scrolling.
This would improve readibily of (normally very long) error messages a lot.
I suggest to mark the beginning of the split line in some way.

Describe the current behavior

When compiling or linking fails the error description is very often at the right of the output, outside the window.
It is annoying to search the scrollbar and scroll to the right (losing track of the error location).
