I've posted this in a few of the "the old UI was better threads" but figured it was worth a top level discussion. I'm hosting the v1 jwt debugger (with slight modifications) here:
To be clear, I'm not in the "the new UI sucks" camp, honestly people have been kind of rude about the whole thing. I actually like the new UI better in some respects. I'm forking the project and hosting it primarily because there is some minor functionality missing in V2 that I depend on, and because the V2 project is (currently) closed source so I have nowhere to submit patches to. I use this thing a lot and would much prefer to use an open source tool, hence the fork, but I hope that auth0 will release the v2 codebase under an open source license at some point. If you similarly would prefer to use the old UI, or would care to contribute any changes to it, you're welcome to use my fork/hosted version.
Also, while I have no authority to do so, I would ask that everyone have some civility in offering feedback of V2, Given this is now an easy option for anyone who preferred V1, and it's publicly available to us only because auth0 was generous enough to release v1 under an open source license which allows us to fork and modify their work, I really don't think there's any excuse left for some of the nonconstructive critical feedback that's going on. No one was obligated to develop and provide the jwt.io project for you in the first place, and because it was developed as an open source project we all have the right to alter the source and make it available in whatever way we see fit. I've made this even easier by building it and hosting it for everyone. So please: let's act like adults here.

I'm maintaining the fork of the project here: https://github.com/Lanny/jwt if anyone would like to contribute.
